Tea Expertise and Management Ltd (teaM) is a group of senior planters from Bangladesh and India intending to serve tea plantation in different field exploring their long experience.
Scope of Work
teaM can help management to prepare a detailed work plan for next 5(five) years. This will include development program and crop projection of the garden. Raising nursery for plants required in accordance to all development program – extension, replanting etc will be designed.
This will also include plan for expansion/ addition of machinery in factory and irrigation facility and other infrastructure. teaM wants to involve, if invited by management in other cultivation, development and manufacturing procedures.
To check and verify existing records and actual working style of field and factory works. This will help to identify the reason for variation of different cost comparing with others. These variations can be caused by improper supply chain management and labour deployment or combined.
Records can even indicate different between books and actual job done. Stock taking of Tea at factory, Nursery plants, chemicals, fertilizers and POL will be included.
Routine follow up of management practice both in the field and factory and confirm compliance as per policy approved. Deviation will be reported with suggestion for correction thereof. This job is designed to be on regular basis for specific period.

SHAFIQUE AHMED CHOUDHURY
37 years of experience in a multinational corporate business house, named James Finlay PLC. Joined the company in the year 1974 as Assistant Manager and worked up the ladder to become General Manager (Operation) in 2001 and Chief Executive Officer in the year 2002 for two companies of Finlay Group namely “The Consolidated Tea and Lands Company (Bangladesh) Limited” and “Baraoora (Sylhet) Tea Limited”.
JADABA NANDA GOSWAMI
45 years of hands on experience in Tea Industry. Joined M/s. Balmer Lawrie & Co. Managing Agents for Jokai Assam Tea Co.and worked as an Assistant Manager (1971-1976), Senior Assistant Manager.(1976-1983), Junior Manager (1983-1985 ), Senior Manager (1985-1990 ) , Group Manager Factories (1990-1993) and Group Manager (1993-1996) in their gardens.
ALI ASHRAF CHOUDHURY
Served as management staff in different capacity from 1976 to 1999 before retiring as Group Manager in James Finlay PLC Served the tea industry as the Branch Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association (BCS) of greater Sylhet branch for 2 years 1898 and 1999, represented tea estate owners in the Labour, Health and Welfare Sub-committee and led the BCS delegation to the problematic tea gardens for resolving issues.
Jamal Ahmed Chowdhury
25 years of experience in a multinational corporate business house, named James Finlay PLC.
Joined the company in the year 1977 as Assistant Manager and worked up the ladder to become Superintending Manager
35 years of experience in a multinational corporate business house, named Duncan Brothers (BD) Ltd. Joined the company in the year 1977 as Assistant Manager and worked up the ladder to become Senior Manager per pro in 2005 Last served garden was Shamshernagur Tea Estate. Transfer to Duncan head office in January 2012 and retired in April 2012 on attaining retirement age as per company policy. Enjoying regular pension from Duncan Brothers (BD) Ltd. as per company policy.
